SUSTAINABILITY

We take responsibility for a sustainable future. In order for organizations to be sustainable and successful, it is not enough to focus only on profitability, they should be aware of their economic, social and environmental responsibilities towards their stakeholders and try to fulfill these responsibilities. We try to improve ourselves on these issues, and to implement innovative practices and fulfill our responsibilities. We embed volunteering in the structure of DETA culture. We consider that institutions play an important factor in reaching human and environmental rights and development, and believe that giving back to the community benefits clients, carriers, employees, and the organizations we support. Sustainable development has many facets. For us, one of the most important ways to ensure sustainable development is to protect children's rights. Children’s rights are the ultimate definition of sustainability, and an essential investment for a sustainable future. Safeguarding these rights helps build the strong, well-educated communities that are vital to creating stable, inclusive and productive societies.

We contribute to build a sustainable future for children, and DETA is donating 1 dollar to UNICEF TÜRKİYE National Committee for every single shipment.

Environment × As DETA Logıstıcs, we passionately believe that everybody should take responsiblity to protect the environment. We are committed to supporting activities that strengthen the conservation and protection of natural resources, advance ecological sustainability, and foster harmony between communities and the environment. Being a responsible citizen adds much to us. It increases awareness, motivation and efficiency and makes it easier for us to take action in order to have a lasting impact. We strive to fulfil our corporate responsibilities, in order to ensure the sustainability of our company based on respect for future generations and ethical management values.

Social × For DETA Logıstıcs, as a corporate citizen, the priority issues in sustainability are human happiness, social development and environmental protection. We seek to develop ourselves in these matters and produce innovative practices, which may be an inspiration for others. We establish structures that support these practices, keep view of the developments through these structures, determine the areas that are open to improvement, design improvement plans, and try to not only reach our targets, but also to surpass them. We always give place to the following matters on our agenda: employee rights, individual development of employees, equal opportunity, social investment, fair competition, ethical purchase, environmental protection, process and legal compliance.
